The Division of Finance, Office of Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) and Non-Emergency Medical Travel (NEMT), is seeking a dependable and organized individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant. We are looking for someone who is a proactive self-starter, customer-service driven, attentive to deadlines, and highly detail-oriented. The ideal applicant will demonstrate strong accuracy in their work, along with the ability to complete tasks quickly and efficiently while meeting established deadlines.

Duties include:
- Answer incoming phone calls and provide basic program information.
- Respond to basic program questions via email.
- Open, sort, and route daily mail.
- Enter claims into the NEMT Portal.
- Order and maintain office supplies.
- Process vouchers and support financial documentation needs.
- Maintain claim backlog and follow established shredding procedures.
- Assist with general office operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

This position is eligible for Veterans' Preference per ARSD 55:10:02:08.
