West Point Auto and Truck Center is looking to hire an AG Technician.
Job Summary:
The Kubota Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and servicing Kubota equipment, including tractors, utility vehicles, mowers, construction equipment, and other related machinery. This role ensures machines are maintained in excellent working condition, adhering to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect, diagnose, and repair Kubota agricultural, turf, and construction equipment.
Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks, etc.).
Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
Perform warranty and non-warranty repairs efficiently and accurately.
Maintain accurate service records, including work orders and parts used.
Communicate findings and repair needs to customers and service managers clearly.
Stay current with Kubota training and certification requirements.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Operate and maintain agricultural machinery and equipment (Tractors, Balers, Skid Loaders, Mini Excavators, Feed Trucks, and Compact Tractors).
Follow safety and environmental regulations in all tasks
Qualifications:
Basic mechanical skills and familiarity with farm equipment maintenance
Knowledge of precision agriculture tools and practices is a plus
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and record-keeping abilities
Valid driver’s license
