Description:

Homecare Services is looking to fill an Agency Operations Manager position in our Pierre, SD location. This position will provide oversight and support of the day to day operations.  This will include overseeing the payroll process, billing of various paying sources, accounts receivable and various statistical and financial reports. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Operate the electronic software program.  Review submitted documentation, payroll and billing information for accuracy 
  • Run computerized reports to generate payroll and billings
  • Run computerized statistical and management reports
  • Distribute payroll
  • Receive and pay bills, obtain signatures on checks
  • Interact with Service Bureau on financials and payroll
  • Assure all billings are out in a timely manner
  • Answer telephones
  • Receive payments for invoiced services, prepare deposits, and follow-up on Accounts Receivable
  • Monitor cash flow
  • Maintain all required Agency/consumer documentation

Requirements:

A work history and fundamental knowledge of bookkeeping, payroll and ability to function in a computerized environment are required.  A graduate of a recognized postsecondary program or courses in bookkeeping or accounting is recommended.  An equivalent combination of experience and training is acceptable.
