Tri-State Securtiy in Sioux Falls is looking to fill / Part-Time positions in Sioux Falls. Pay is $25.00 per hour. These positions would be On-SiteSecurity, Sunday to Thursday 7am to 3pm are required and the possibility addition days to cover if needed.

Provide general security duties to clients, crime prevention, crime deduction and order maintenance by observing,documenting and reporting activites . Maintain visbility to ensure/deter unacceptable activities . Comply with Client's post instruction which include walking to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security and safety of client and guest. Answer alarms and investigate distrubances . Monitor cameras and authorized entrance and departure of employees, vistors,vendors and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.  Write reports of daily activites and irregularities, such as equipment of property damage, theft presence of unauthorzed persons, or unsusual occurrences. Respond to emergencies, such as medical emergencies. Report all incidents, accidents or medical emergencies. Call police and fire departments in of emergencey.  Circulate among vistors, patrons and employees to preserve order and protect property. Warn persons of rule infractions or violations and apprehend or evict violators from premises. Walking and standing is required.  MUST BE ABLE TO WORK FOLLOW INSTURUCTIONS AND WORK INDEPENDENTLY

Job Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older, as required by the contract.
Must have a high school diploma or GED and 3-10 years of employment history.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing for public interaction and report writing.

. Ability to perform the essential functions of the position without accommodation. Prolonged walking and standing.
. Able to pass a background and drug test.
. Neat and professional appearance, attendance, and punctuality required.
. Friendly and professional demeanor, and provide quality customer service.
. Handle typical and crises efficiently and effectively at the site
. Shifts are NIGHTS / WEEKENDS and HOLIDAYS
. Must be dependable.
Driver's license required.
. Pass firearms qualification with Glock 17 9MM.
