JOB SUMMARY
The Asphalt Equipment Operator position is responsible for operating different paving equipment in asphalt related jobs.
To be considered for this opportunity you must have:
- Understanding and ability to follow safety standards and policies
- Knowledge of Asphalt Equipment required
- Drivers license with preference for CDL
LOCATION
Sioux Falls, SD
EDUCATION
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate different paving equipment in asphalt related jobs.
- Asphalt Roller Operator: operate a rubber tire or steel wheel asphalt roller to roll the asphalt mat to desired compaction.
- Asphalt Screed Operator: operate screed controls in the application of asphalt on highways/private roadways/parking lots/driveways; Make normal adjustments for obtaining proper depth, grade and finished cross section of asphalt material via screed extensions; Perform other related duties such as adding or removing screed extensions.
