Job Description
SealPros is a leader in the Asphalt Paving and Maintenance industry, and our seasonal employees are eligible for benefits all year! We are currently seeking general laborers on our Asphalt Paving Crew. Laborers will perform tasks involving physical labor on parking lots and streets. The laborer will inspect and maintain all asphalt equipment and supplies including all small equipment, tires, lights, brakes, gas, and oil and completes minor repairs to asphalt equipment at the direction of the manager. This is a seasonal position.
Essential Job Functions
- Saw cut and remove asphalt
- Compact Base
- Tack coat sawed edges
- Direct trucks to deposit material into designated area
- Spread, shovel, and tamp to grade asphalt and base course
- Assist supervisor in measuring patches, streets, and lots
- Traffic Control as needed
- Assist in job site clean up
- May occasionally be assigned to other responsibilities
- Maintain accurate timecards and paperwork
- Must be dependable, with minimal time off
Requirements
- No experience necessary
- Valid Driver’s license required
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Able to work overtime – expectation of 40+ hours, including weekends as required
- Some heavy lifting - minimum of 50lbs
- Maintain a strict attitude towards safety and company policy
