Job Description
SealPros is a leader in the Asphalt Paving and Maintenance industry, and our seasonal employees are eligible for benefits all year! This position requires a person who is able to work with other co-workers and managers in a team environment and is able to safely operate heavy equipment of various sizes and weights used in road, site or highway construction and paving. The operator will also perform minor servicing/maintenance of equipment, general physical labor, and assist in training less-experienced employees. This is a seasonal position.
Essential Job Functions
- Operate a steel faced roller
- Operate Asphalt Paver
- Operate an Asphalt Screed
- Operate an oil distributor truck
- Operate Commercial Vehicles
- Must be able to read and understand construction plans
- May occasionally be assigned to other responsibilities
- Maintain accurate timecards and paperwork
Requirements
- Experience in asphalt paving preferred
- Valid Driver’s license required
- Class A or B CDL preferred, or we will help you get it!
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Able to work overtime – expectation of 40+ hours, including weekends as required
- Must be dependable, with minimal time off
- Maintain accurate timecards and job paperwork
- Maintain a strict attitude towards safety and company policy
- Some heavy lifting - minimum of 50lbs
