The Division of Family and Community Health, Office of Lifespan Health is seeking a dynamic public health leader to join its team as the Assistant Administrator of Data. This position works works collaboratively with the Office of Lifespan Health (OLH) team and external partners to guide data collection, analysis, and management for programs throughout the Office of Lifespan Health. Duties may include general administrative tasks as directed by the OLH Administrator. This position will lead a team of data staff, develop partnerships to share data, and be the main point of contact for maternal and child health data needs.
This position will be responsible for the oversight and grant management of State Systems Development Initiative (SSDI) and Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring System (PRAMS) efforts, and will contribute data and technical expertise to several other grants in Lifespan Health. This position reports to the Office of Lifespan Health Administrator, Division of Family and Community Health.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have: A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in public health, biological sciences, or health related field. A master's degree in public health, epidemiology, or related field is preferred. An equivalent combination of experience, education and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities will be considered. Work history that includes experience with grants management, data analysis, epidemiology, leadership, and personnel management. The candidate must have the knowledge, skills, and abilities to work autonomously and as a contributing and supportive member of a team. The ideal candidate will be organized, plan, and set goals and priorities. Must be able to develop and maintain effective working relationships with healthcare partners, researchers, and community organizations. The ideal candidate will work cooperatively with their team to help achieve the Department of Health's public health strategic goals and demonstrate a commitment to representing the Department of Health's mission, vision, and values.
