Hillside Resort is seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant General Manager to support daily operations across our restaurant and Sea Store. This leadership role works closely with ownership and management to ensure smooth operations, strong team performance, and an excellent guest experience.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and able to lead by example in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in overseeing daily operations of the restaurant and Sea Store
Support hiring, training, and scheduling of staff
Ensure high standards of customer service and hospitality
Monitor labor, scheduling, and overall team performance
Assist with inventory management, ordering, and vendor coordination
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulations
Help manage cash handling, POS accuracy, and reporting
Address guest concerns and resolve issues professionally
Support implementation of promotions, events, and seasonal operations
Step into leadership role in absence of General Manager
Qualifications:
Previous restaurant, retail, or hospitality management experience required
Strong leadership and team-building skills
Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
Experience with scheduling, inventory, and daily operations
Strong communication and organizational skills
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and peak seasons
Reliable and professional
Schedule & Compensation:
Hours will vary based on season and business demand.
Compensation is based on experience, including leadership, operations, and inventory management experience.
