The Role

We are seeking a driven, self-starting and highly motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our leadership team. Our assistant managers are a key piece of our leadership team and are expected to be competent in all duties of our Sales Associates along with further responsibilities including general custodial management duties and, most importantly, developing sales and service talent amongst the team and consistently perform as a key player driving business with their own individual sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & Customer Service: A primary expectation will be individual sales performance with both walk-ins as well as through a consistent, concentrated effort to build your own repeat client base and bring in new business beyond current clientele. Being a leading example of absolute top-tier, personalized service is also crucial.

  • Team Leadership: Assist in the recruitment, training, and daily management of sales associates' selling, daily activities and schedules. Develop sales associate selling and service skills with one-on-ones, team meetings and daily encouragement to achieve sales goals. Leaders who are consistently motivated toward maximizing individual and team sales, elevating client experiences, establishing new client relationships, and thinking creatively to improve sales, client experience and the business are highly valued.

  • General Management Duties: Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory processing & management, organizing & processing incoming and outgoing tailoring, general housekeeping, etc.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: Management, retail sales and/or customer service experience are highly valued but not required.

  • Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, ability to be a team-player, high-degree of motivation and willingness to learn are necessary.

  • Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends & holidays.
