Assistant Teacher

Are children attracted to you? Do you find yourself drawn to the children in the group? Do you desire to be part of a great team? Come join us as a part time teacher.

We are looking for people to work late afternoon with various ages. Must be able to work some Fridays. This person needs to be 14 years or older.

Duties and Key Responsibilities

Care of Children

• Interact and lovingly care for children under his/her care
• Attentive to children keeping them safe and healthy
• Treating children with dignity and respect while attending to and/or assisting children’s personal needs (diapers accidents, runny nose, washing hands and face, etc.)
• Use positive reinforcement and redirection when dealing with children’s behavior

Environment

• Warm child friendly environment that is orderly, organized yet stimulating
• Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe environment
