Windy Ridge Vet Clinic-Pipestone MN
Windy Ridge Veterinary Clinic is located in Pipestone, MN and is looking for an associate veterinarian who would like to join a cohesive and tenured team which has a well-established practice with the challenge of additional and continued growth. Windy Ridge is owned by Dr. Larry Goelz and Dr. Brett Kroeze with three other associate veterinarians to make up our veterinarian team. We have one veterinarian strictly dedicated to companion animal with multiple veterinarian technicians to provide the highest quality of service along with modern facilities to provide caring and empathetic care to our small animal clients and their beloved pets. The other four veterinarians provide service to many dairies, cow/calf operations, auction market, equine and small ruminants. We have a dedicated, skilled and caring support staff with many years of veterinary clinic experience. The ideal candidate would need to be willing to do both small animal and equine work, as well as handle food animal farm calls as needed. There will be opportunity in the future to grow in any area of practice.
Practice Overview
· Species breakdown 65% cattle, 20% small animal, 5% equine, 10% small ruminants
· Small animal will be seen in clinic, with a majority of the large animal work being ambulatory
· Haul in facilities available at the clinic, and at the auction market across the street
· In house labs, ultrasound and digital Xray
· Small animal 24-hour referral/emergency hospital within 45 miles
· Large animal 24/7 emergency on call
· Established in cattle advanced reproduction, and a growing sheep service
Position Highlights
· Species breakdown: 50% small animal, 40% large animal 10% equine. Option to focus more on certain areas based on interest
· On call split evenly between five veterinarians

Qualifications
· DVM or Equivalent
· Any experience welcome, new grads encouraged to apply
· Ability to be licensed and accredited in Minnesota, South Dakota and Iowa

Pipestone, Minnesota is located in rural SW Minnesota and is home to the Pipestone National Monument. It is a thriving community with many great small town advantages including a relatively new high school/middle/grade school all on one campus. There are lots of outdoor activities available locally with trails, rivers, and public hunting ground. There are numerous larger cities within an hour’s distance in any direction including Marshall, MN, Brookings, SD, Worthington, MN and Sioux Falls, SD which is also only a short 45 minute drive and has everything available that any metropolis could offer.
