The Audit Associate is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financial report, ensuring financial operations meet compliance with the law and accuracy in accounting.

Typical day in the life:

  • Perform a wide range of audit and accounting procedures impacting industry-specific issues.
  • Attend a client engagement meeting to determine timelines and goals of an audit.
  • Being proficient at preparing financial statements.
  • Providing financial analysis upon completion of fieldwork in the effort to improve client internal controls and accounting procedures.
  • Assuming responsibility for unaudited financial statement, engagements, or segments of audits under the supervision of a senior team member.
  • Perform various audit procedures while working with clients across many industries.

What will get you noticed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or related field.
  • CPA certified or the eligibility to work towards obtaining a CPA license.
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in public accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Highly proficient is MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of client’s businesses and industries.
  • Commitment to flexibility in an always changing profession.
  • Open and honest communication with the ability to execute written and oral presentation skills.
