Honda Automotive Sales Consultant- January 2026
$3500 plus per month- Commission and Bonuses
Vern Eide Motorcars, Inc. was established in 1965 and is an employee-owned business. We offer a full-service facility to take care of all our customers’ automotive needs. We are currently looking for an individual who is willing to do what it takes to be successful. The ideal candidate should be an energetic, personable, outgoing, self-starter with a good work ethic.
Our Sales Consultants are paid based on a commission structure, so income is only limited by your ambition level. During the first six months of employment, we will provide a guaranteed minimum income, allowing new associates to focus on learning the product and the 'Eide way' of doing business, rather than worrying about their compensation.
Previous sales experience preferred, but NOT REQUIRED for this position. Applicants from finance, real estate, retail, sales, customer service, hospitality, restaurant, and banking industries are strongly encouraged to apply.

Daily Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Consulting with customers to determine their wants and needs in a new or used vehicle
- Conducting walk-arounds with customers and demonstrating features and benefits
- Ensuring that the customer understands the vehicle's operating features, warranty, and paperwork
- Conducting price negotiations on vehicles
- Demonstrating an understanding that business is built on excellent customer satisfaction and being committed to providing first-rate customer service
- Developing and maintaining strong customer relationships to ensure repeat business
- Maintaining an excellent knowledge of new products, features, and accessories available, and explaining their benefits to customers
- Attending product and sales training courses provided by the dealership
Requirements:
- Prior experience in sales, customer service, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong phone presence and the ability to make a high volume of calls daily.
- Comfortable using video as a communication tool to engage customers.
- Proficient in CRM systems and digital communication platforms.
- Highly self-motivated with strong time-management skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree is a plus).
- Professional appearance and strong interpersonal skills.
