As a Banquet Server, you play a key role in delivering exceptional service during various events hosted by the hotel. Your attention to detail, excellent customer service, and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will ensure a positive guest experience.

Responsibilities:

Event Preparation:

  • Assist in setting up banquet and event spaces according to event orders and diagrams.
  • Ensure all necessary equipment and amenities are in place prior to the start of the event, such as water pitchers, glasses, utensils, and centerpieces. 

Service Execution:

  • Communicate with guests with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests according to established protocols.
  • Monitor guests to anticipate needs and respond to requests in a timely and courteous manner. 

Professionalism:

  • Maintain a polished appearance and adhere to the hotel's uniform and grooming standards.
  • Handle challenging situations with tact and composure, seeking assistance from supervisors when necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and guests to ensure seamless service.

Cleanliness and Hygiene:

  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Clear tables efficiently and discreetly during the event, removing used dishes and utensils.
  • Assist in post-event cleanup, ensuring event spaces are left in a tidy condition.

Flexibility:

  • Adapt to changes in event plans or last-minute requests, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to assist in various capacities.

Teamwork:

  • Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other team members to ensure smooth and coordinated service.
  • Attend pre-event briefings to review event details and expectations.
