Part-Time Bartender
**Location:** Alcester Clubhouse Grille & Morningside Event Center, Alcester, South Dakota
**Pay:** Starting at $11.66 per hour plus tips
**Job Description:**
The Alcester Clubhouse Grille is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Part-Time Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating a welcoming environment for our guests, mixing drinks to perfection, and providing top-notch customer service.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, following established recipes and guidelines
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for the purchase of alcohol
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware and utensils
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Monitor and manage inventory, ensuring that the bar is well-stocked at all times
- Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service laws and regulations
- Assist with setting up and closing down the bar, including restocking supplies and cleaning as needed
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and waitstaff to ensure a smooth customer experience
**Qualifications:**
- Previous bartending experience preferred but not required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
