Dakota Beverage is a family-owned beverage distributor based in Sioux Falls, SD. As the largest beer distributor in South Dakota, we proudly serve Sioux Falls and surrounding communities.
We're looking for a dependable and hardworking Route Delivery Assistant to join our team. In this role, you'll work alongside a delivery driver to provide excellent service to our customers, unload and stock beverage products, and help ensure each delivery is completed accurately and efficiently.

This position is a great opportunity to start your career in beer delivery and work toward becoming a Class A CDL driver. Dakota Beverage will assist you in obtaining your Class A CDL, giving you the opportunity to advance into a driving position and earn an increase in pay once you obtain your Class A CDL. Interest in obtaining a Class A CDL and advancing into a delivery driver position is encouraged.
What You'll Do
- Assist the delivery driver with delivering beverage products to designated customers
- Help unload and move products safely and efficiently
- Put away and stock delivered products at customer locations
- Organize products to maintain an accurate and appealing presentation
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers
- Provide friendly and professional customer service
- Follow safe lifting, handling, and delivery practices
- Work as part of a team to complete daily delivery routes efficiently
- Perform other delivery and warehouse-related duties as assigned
What We're Looking For

- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday
- Strong attention to detail
- Previous delivery, warehouse, beverage, or customer service experience is helpful but not required
