SUMMARY:

Call to Freedom is committed to identifying and responding to the needs of individuals at-risk of human trafficking and sexual exploitation and those working to transition out of human trafficking. This position will provide support to case managers and work with teams to manage tasks. Key tasks include educating and connecting with the foreign national community, setting up and tear down of booths at events, and managing the tracking and delivery process to referral partners.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Prefer Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or Counseling. Experience with victims of violence, trafficking, trauma, and/or substance abuse helpful.
  • Training in trauma-informed care is beneficial.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Flexible, self-directed, and responsive.
  • Lifts and carries items weighing up to 50 lbs. with assistance using proper body mechanics.
  • Approximately 32+ hours/week, must be able to adapt to flexible scheduling, including some nights and weekends.
  • Bilingual - preferably Spanish/English

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND JOB DUTIES:

  • Develop foreign national partners and potential new partners to keep collaborations and referrals active and productive. Track these partnerships and update accordingly.
  • Conduct initial screening and assessments, working with individuals recognizing needs for safety, autonomy, and confidentiality.
  • Be a primary point of contact for assigned clients. Provide responsive and timely service to individuals.
  • Conduct trainings to foreign national service providers and bilingual community regarding identifying and trauma-informed services to victims of human trafficking.
  • Provide outreach and technical assistance to community agencies to aid in identifying and assisting.  Set-up and tear down of vendor booth and manage them as well.  Responsible for restocking of the materials and notifying admin staff when supply is running low.
  • Develop and execute outreach clinics in collaboration with Community Navigator to underserved and rural populations.
  • Travels for agencies using personal/agency vehicles.
  • Attends staff meetings, luncheons, and other outreach events.
  • Maintain documentation and records as appropriate.
  • Assist all case managers and occupational therapists working with bilingual clients with interpretation and supportive services.
  • Assist with developing a cultural activity calendar for local and rural community members.
  • Other duties as assigned.
