MC&R Pools, INC. is a locally owned and operated company that has served Sioux Falls and the surrounding area since 1975. We provide custom design built aquatic installations of swimming pools, spas, spray-grounds, and water parks. MC&R is staffed with a service and maintenance department and includes a retail showroom. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and month end closings.
- Reconcile all inter-company accounts.
- Effectively prepare A/R invoicing for monthly billing for over 300+ accounts.
- Prepare and file sales & use, excise tax returns in multiple states.
- Assist CPA with year-end closing and tax preparation.
- Licenses and track all company vehicles.
- Process incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Verify billing accounts with account receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience.
- Understanding of accounting principles and ability to read financial statements.
- Proficient in Sage 100 Accounting software.
- Excellent working knowledge of Excel.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
- Self-motivated, confident, friendly, and highly detailed oriented.
- Ability to work independently.
