The City of Sioux Falls is hiring a Building Maintenance Worker to help maintain the facilities our community depends on every day. This role is ideal for a hands-on maintenance and custodial professional who takes pride in quality work, enjoys being part of a team, and is able to keep work moving whether working independently or alongside others.
What you’ll do
You will perform semi-skilled and skilled building maintenance and work orders, including cleaning, general maintenance, and general repair of City buildings, systems, and equipment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Graduation from high school or GED certification with a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in custodial and building maintenance work, including minor electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work; or any such combination of education, experience, and training as may be acceptable to the hiring authority.
Willing to work standby duty for building security systems, HVAC/R, and maintenance alerts.
Possession of a valid driver’s license prior to hire is required.
