Business Development Associate
Location
On-site in Sioux falls, SD, office environment with nationwide travel to partner meetings and industry conferences. Primary office location not specified.
Schedule
Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Occasional evening and weekend work as needed.
Travel required; frequency varies.

The Role
The Business Development Associate serves as a key point of contact for partner relationships while also helping to grow new business. This role blends account management, partner support, and outbound prospecting. You’ll work cross-functionally with underwriting teams, communicate daily with partners and customers, and help identify revenue opportunities within an established partner channel.
What You’ll Do
- Prospect and qualify new partnership opportunities through phone and email outreach
- Onboard and train new partners on company processes, workflows, and systems
- Manage ongoing partner relationships and serve as a primary point of contact
- Coordinate with junior and senior underwriting teams to help move funding deals forward
- Track activity, performance, and trends to identify growth opportunities within partner accounts
- Share market and partner feedback with leadership to improve processes and offerings
- Travel to partner meetings and industry conferences as needed
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Comfort speaking with partners and customers by phone and email
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Organized, detail-oriented approach to work
- Ability to build rapport with people at various levels of an organization
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and accept coaching
- Basic proficiency with CRM systems, Excel, and Microsoft Office tools
Preferred Qualifications
- 0–2 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer service
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience supporting accounts or partner relationships
- Exposure to financial services or B2B environments
