Schedule: Monday-Fridays 8:00am-4:30pm

Position Overview:

Children’s Home Society of South Dakota is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst who will support organizational decision-making by developing, maintaining, and enhancing Power BI dashboards and reports that provide timely insight into financial and operational performance. What You’ll Do:

Business Intelligence & Reporting
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and standardized reports used by leadership and departments.


Financial & Operational Analysis
  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close through dashboard reporting and data visualization.


Data Governance & Quality Assurance
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting tools and data sources.
  • Investigate data discrepancies and work with departments to implement corrective actions.


Cross-Functional Collaboration & Enablement
  • Collaborate across departments to define KPIs, reporting needs, and data requirements.
  • Provide user training, documentation, and support to promote effective dashboard usage and data literacy.


Systems Integration & Continuous Improvement
  • Work with IT to enhance data integrations and governance across systems.
  • Participate in strategic initiatives involving technology integration, workflow improvements, or new data systems.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related field required.

Experience:
  • 1-5 years experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or financial analysis required.
  • Power BI development experience required
