Full-Time | 40 hours/week | Non-Exempt

Starting wage: $29.22-$32.00 | Wage is negotiable for candidates with valuable education and/or experience. This role is eligible for incentive and bonus opportunities.
Location: Office space is available in the following areas: Rapid City, Box Elder/EAFB, Hill City, or Custer

What You’ll Do
Identify and develop new business banking opportunities through community involvement, networking, and delivering outstanding service.
Collect, evaluate, and analyze commercial loan requests to determine eligibility and appropriate loan structure.
Negotiate loan terms, including fees, repayment options, and credit requirements.
Manage and monitor an existing loan portfolio to ensure quality, compliance, and accuracy.
Maintain current financial documentation, including tax returns, statements, and loan records.
Participate in collection procedures as needed, ensuring timely repayment and developing revised terms when necessary.
Prepare and present commercial credit memorandums to the Loan Committee, CLO, or CEO.
Recommend product improvements or enhancements based on member needs.
Partner closely with Credit Analysts, Loan Processors, and other lending staff.
Assist with other duties as assigned to support the success of the department.
Who You Are
You have a strong eye for detail and enjoy organizing information accurately.
You build positive relationships with coworkers, members, and community partners.
You communicate professionally—both in writing and in person.
You’re comfortable juggling multiple priorities and staying calm under pressure.
You have five or more years of relevant experience (preferred) in lending, commercial services, or financial institutions.
You’re 18 or older, with a High School Diploma or GED (college education preferred).
You bring strong financial comprehension and the ability to analyze data.
You’re eager to learn, grow, and positively contribute to Sentinel’s culture of trust and service.
You have a valid driver’s license and enjoy representing Sentinel in the community.
