Minimum Salary: $14.38 Hourly
As campground attendant at Lake Vermillion Recreation Area, your primary responsibility is to provide a positive experience for visitors to the park and be the initial contact person for park visitors. This will involve selling licenses and permits, answering questions, giving directions, registering campers, assisting in the front entrance station, selling firewood, and cleaning of park grounds, buildings, and facilities, as well as patrolling of park areas to monitor fee compliance; maintenance and other duties as assigned.
General Requirements:
This position requires money handling and customer service skills as well as shifts on weekends and holidays. Uniforms are provided and employees must comply with uniform dress code. Housing may be available upon request. Many tasks will be performed outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. Operation of light equipment such as UTVs, pressure washers, trucks, and cars will be expected.
We accept both part-time and full-time applications.
