Case Manager - Marissa's House

Summary
Help survivors rebuild their lives through trauma-informed advocacy and support. Call to Freedom is seeking a compassionate and organized Marissa’s House Case Manager to provide direct services for survivors of human trafficking and exploitation. In this role, you will help individuals move toward independence, safety, and stability by coordinating services, providing advocacy, and supporting their personal goals.

Marissa’s House is a supportive housing program that helps survivors of human trafficking transition toward independent living. Residents receive individualized support, life-skills development, and connections to community resources in a safe, structured environment focused on healing and long-term stability.

Key Responsibilities
Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned clients and provide responsive case management
Conduct intake screenings and needs assessments while prioritizing safety, autonomy, and confidentiality
Develop individualized case management plans and connect clients with resources such as housing, employment, therapy, medical care, and documentation
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including occupational therapy, family development, and program staff
Maintain accurate case documentation and records
Assist with client transportation, move-ins and move-outs, and maintaining a healthy, positive home environment
Support resident programming, house meetings, and survivor support groups
Help coordinate volunteers and assist with organization of donations and household needs
Participate in community awareness and education efforts when requested
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field preferred
Experience working with individuals impacted by trauma, violence, trafficking, or substance abuse preferred
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team environment
Trauma-informed approach to care beneficial
Additional Requirements
Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain motor vehicle insurance
Ability to drive (or learn to drive) a 12-passenger van in various weather conditions
Ability to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings or weekends as needed
