Job Description
Overview:
Work with the crew and site supervisor with the installation of underground utilities, foundations, flat work and access roads.
Job Duties:
- Drive equipment and job materials to the site and stage as needed.
- Excavate foundations in various terrains & soil conditions using heavy machinery.
- Assist with the installation of rebar cages in accordance with site drawings.
- Assist with the installation of concrete foundations, flatwork and finishing.
- Backfilling foundations and trenches to include compaction testing.
- Restore topsoil and install stone, mulch, erosion control and minor hardscape features
- Assist with the installation of site access roads to include compaction.
- Clean up site of debris.
- Clean, check fluid levels and conduct a visual inspection of vehicle and equipment.
- Comply with safety procedures while driving and performing work at the job site.
Qualifications:
- A valid Driver’s License
- Basic knowledge and ability to operate hand tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to travel
- Ability to obtain a Class A Commercial Driver’s License
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.
- Lift up to 75 pounds
