Salary: $60,000 – $80,000 per year, depending on experience and licensure
Working Hours: Mondays – Thursdays, 8am – 5pm; Fridays, 8am – Noon

Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Design Engineer to join our growing team. This role will support the design and development of land development and infrastructure projects, including grading, drainage, utilities, and roadway systems. The ideal candidate is passionate about civil engineering, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is eager to contribute to projects that shape the built environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare construction documents using AutoCAD and Civil 3D for grading, drainage, water, sewer, storm drain, and street improvements.
- Perform earthwork calculations, develop alignments, corridors, profiles, and cross-sections.
- Assist in the preparation of Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs), Drainage Reports, and Utility Reports.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and project managers to ensure design accuracy and project alignment.
- Conduct research and field data analysis to support engineering decisions.
- Maintain project documentation and adhere to RSA’s quality and design standards.
Qualifications
- B.S. in Civil Engineering (required).
- 1–3 years of experience in civil engineering (entry-level candidates will be considered).
- E.I.T. certification preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2018 or newer), Civil 3D, and hydrology/hydraulics software.
- Experience with commercial, residential, or mixed-use development projects is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are important.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
