Claims Representative - Workers’ Compensation
The primary responsibility of the Claims Representative I is to provide a high level of support to the Claims Team. This position will be responsible for returning phone calls, creating notes in the claims system, close claim files, and help prepare file reviews. The Claims Representative I will handle all aspects of first aid, notice-only and other minor medical claims and will be responsible for providing a high level of service to both internal and external customers.

This position offers a hybrid work from home opportunity (work from home 2 days a week). The successful candidate must reside in the Sioux Falls, SD area.
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND OVERVIEW
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s d degree preferred
- Must have the knowledge or ability to learn and understand workers’ compensation principles
- Proven decision making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office as well as basic office machines and equipment.
