Position Overview:Children’s Home Society of South Dakota is seeking a Clinical Director at Children’s Home Society is a leadership position responsible for overseeing and managing the clinical operations and provision services with the Outpatient Therapy department. This role involves providing a clinical direction, overview documentation and codes for billing, providing professional licensure supervision and ensuring overall high-quality service delivery, and contributing to the overall success of the organization’s therapeutic programs.

What You Will Do:- Clinical Oversight: Provide leadership and supervision to the clinical staff, including therapists, counselors, and support personnel. Provide professional licensure supervision of individuals seeking advancing licensure. Oversight provision of therapeutic clinical services and care provision. Ensure the delivery of evidence-based therapeutic services in accordance with relevant regulations and best practices.
- Program Development: Collaborate with the executive team to develop, implement, and evaluate outpatient therapy programs and services. Stay informed about industry trends and research to enhance and expand clinical offerings.
- Staff Development: Design care modalities and therapeutic interventions that are supportive of the CHS trauma informed model. Provide oversight and direction for therapeutic training. Recruit, train, and mentor clinical staff. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing professional development opportunities.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality assurance processes to ensure the effectiveness and safety of therapeutic interventions. Conduct regular reviews of clinical documentation and compliance with relevant standards.
- Collaboration and Networking: Build and maintain collaborative relationships with external stakeholders, including community partners, other healthcare providers, and regulatory agencies. Represent the organization in relevant professional and community forums.
- Budget Management: Collaborate with the finance department to develop and manage the budget for the outpatient therapy program. Monitor financial performance and make recommendations for improvement.
- Clinical Supervision: Provide clinical supervision to therapists and counselors. Ensure adherence to ethical and professional standards in therapeutic practice.

Requirements
- Education: Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work or Doctoral degree in Psychology
- Experience: Provel experience in a leadership role with a clinical setting, preferably in outpatient therapy. Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic practices and relevant regulations
- Licensure: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW PIP)
Physical Demands and Work Environment:Normal office environment with minimal exposure to dust, noise, etc. Extended PC viewing and keyboarding required. Extended periods of sedentary work required.
