Position Description:
Center for Family Medicine, home to the Sioux Falls Family Medicine Residency Program, is seeking candidates for the Clinic Medical Director. The Medical Director is the lead clinician in charge of all aspects of medical outpatient care services provided by Center for Family Medicine. The Medical Director will serve an instrumental role in the education of family medicine resident physicians, assisting in curriculum development, patient care review/audits, and providing guidance and instruction, all while helping to provide excellent patient care to our diverse patient population.
The Medical Director monitors clinical performance to ensure medical services and operations are in compliance with all applicable regulatory and licensing agencies; is responsible for implementing, reviewing, and developing clinic protocols, performance objectives, productivity benchmarks, compliance benchmarks, and workflow planning. As a licensed MD/DO, the Medical Director provides direct patient services in addition to administrative duties.
There are no call duties required of this position, but interests in call or obstetrical care can be discussed with Program Director. This is a full-time, exempt position.
Pay:
Starting at $265,000 (depending on experience and duties)

Skills/Qualifications:
Qualified candidates Must be a Board-Certified family physician licensed and in good standing in the State of South Dakota; graduated from an accredited family medicine residency program. At least five years of clinical outpatient experience required.
