SALARY: Dependent on experience and qualifications
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Clinical Therapist is a key member of the Summit Oaks treatment team. Summit Oaks provides intensive, residential treatment to youth ages 10-17 with behavioral health needs that cannot be met in their home or community. As the Clinical Therapist, you will work collaboratively with the Summit Oaks team to provide therapy and services appropriate to the youth on your caseload. The Clinical Therapist will provide individual, family, and group therapies along with crisis intervention as needed. Summit Oaks believes in a team approach to serving youth and the Clinical Therapist will work collaboratively with families, school contacts, placement agency staff, and other community/collateral contacts in order to support youth in their treatment progress and returning home.
QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree required in counseling, social work, or related field; prefer 2 years’ experience. Must be licensed/certified as a counselor or social worker, or in the process of obtaining such licensure or certification.
Must successfully complete all agency background checks. Requires valid driver’s license and ability to obtain approved driver status.
