Job Title: CNC Machinist
Exempt: (salaried) S50,OOO- $70,000 (Discretionary bonuses may be given based on individual and team performance. as well as overall company success.)
Hours: Monday- Friday 7:30 am-5:00 prn' and occasional weekends (Must be willing to work extra hours when necessary, 40/45 wk).
Travel: Occasionally (May have to travel site to site)
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
We are willing to train the right person on the following skills:
Understanding of 3D and 2D CAD drawings
Loading raw materials onto CNC machines.
Understand tooling
Knowledge Of various CAD software programs
Operate CNC plasma, CNC vertical mill. Monitor machine performance, and adjust parameters when needed.
Operate a forklift
Understand quality control
Identify and solve problems during production.
Willingness to have the ability to be cross-trained on all machines. This includes gaining knowledge on running robotic welding, CNC vertical mills, robotic CNC plasma machines, fiber lasers. Cross-training ensures versatility and operational efficiency in the workplace.
Perform preventive maintenance on equipment
Maintain the cleanliness of the shop.
REQUIRED PHYSICAL ABILITIES:
Lifting & Carrying: Ability: Employees must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 to 100 pounds, with proper technique and equipment.
The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended shifts.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Ensure compliance with safety standards. and specify the actions, such as •wearing PPE,• reporting hazards, or conducting inspections.
REQUIRED COMMUNICATION/MATHEMATICAUREASONING SKILLS:
Must be a team player and have a positive, can-do attitude.
Must be a self-starter and goal-oriented.
Must be highly organized.
Must possess the required level Of skills and abilities to read, write, speak, and apply mathematical concepts and sound reasoning to successfully perforrn the essential duties and responsibilities of this job.
Must be able to perform basic operations on a computer within the Google operating system, along with OS experience (Operating System basics).
This position requires problem-solving skins, critical thinking skills, communication, and the ability to multitask.
