Job Description
As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding custom metal components for commercial projects while ensuring precision, safety, and adherence to company quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate and weld aluminum, steel, galvanized, and stainless-steel materials.
- Utilize various welding processes including SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW.
- Prepare materials by grinding, cutting, drilling, and tapping prior to welding.
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Maintain proper welding techniques to achieve high-quality welds meeting company standards.
- Perform work both in the fabrication shop and at field job sites as needed.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized work environment.
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of weld screens and PPE.
- Collaborate with team members and complete additional duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in pipe welding and metal fabrication.
- 6G and stainless certification required (or ability to obtain upon hire).
- Pipe fitting experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
- Work safely in varying weather conditions and environments.
- Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, or lifts for extended periods.
- Requires stamina, balance, and strong hand-eye coordination.
