Job Description
Betz Blinds is a small, family-owned business serving customers throughout the Sioux Falls area. We're looking for a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team and help manage commercial sales opportunities involving blinds, shades, and window treatments.
This is a great opportunity for someone with experience reading blueprints, estimating projects, and working directly with customers. Previous experience in the window treatment industry is not required. We're happy to help the right person learn our products and processes.
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting at $25.00 per hour, depending on experience
- Quarterly profit-sharing bonus opportunities

What You'll Do
- Review commercial project blueprints, plans, and specifications
- Prepare accurate estimates and quotes for blinds, shades, and window treatment projects
- Meet with customers to discuss project needs and recommend appropriate solutions
- Visit project locations to take measurements and gather information for estimates
- Coordinate with customers and team members throughout the quoting and sales process
- Learn about available products, materials, and window treatment options
- Maintain accurate project details and follow up on sales opportunities
- Help ensure customers receive responsive, professional service
What We're Looking For
- Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and project specifications
- Experience with estimating, quoting, sales, or related commercial projects
- Strong attention to detail and accurate measuring skills
- Comfortable meeting with customers and discussing project requirements
- Good communication, organization, and follow-through
- Willingness to learn about blinds, shades, and commercial window treatments
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a small team
Experience in construction estimating, building materials, commercial sales, or related fields could be a great fit for this position.
