This position may be eligible for a $600 Sign on Bonus
HOURS: Full-time, 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. Occasional extended hours needed based on business demand.
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Community Resource Program supports the South Dakota Department of Social Services youth in foster care as they plan for their future as an independent adult. Candidate will help youth establish housing, employment, prepare for post-secondary education, and facilitate a youth advocacy group in Western and Southwestern South Dakota. Candidate will also coordinate and facilitate bi-annual workshops in Rapid City.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field and two years related experience preferred. Candidate must become licensed through the South Dakota Board of Social Work Examiners as a Social Worker or Social Work Associate within 6 months of employment. Candidate must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and private auto insurance. Must successfully complete agency-required background checks.
SALARY: Depends on education and experience.
