HOURS: Primarily Monday through Friday, daytime hours. Evenings and weekends on occasion.
SALARY: Dependent on experience and qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES: The LSS Community Mentoring Program pairs volunteers with youth aged 7 to 14 to foster community connections and build trusting relationships. This role will act as the primary coordinator for the program. Key responsibilities include develop and implement volunteer recruitment strategies; organize and lead orientation and ongoing training for program volunteers and parents/students; supervise and support mentor matches and serve as a positive resource and reliable presence for volunteers, students and their families.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, plus one to two years experience in related human service field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong communication, organizational and event planning.
- Public speaking and excellent communication skills as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet agency auto insurance requirements.
- Must successfully complete all agency background checks. Must be at least 18 years of age.
