Position Overview:Children’s Home Society of South Dakota is seeking Compliance Coordinator to support the Director of Compliance in maintaining organizational compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and contractual requirements. This role assists with COA-aligned Performance and Quality Improvement (PQI) and Risk Prevention and Management (RPM) activities through data collection, tracking, internal monitoring, audit support, and documentation. The Coordinator plays a key role in supporting continuous quality improvement and accreditation readiness across behavioral health programs. What You Will Do:- Support implementation and maintenance of COA-compliant PQI and Risk Prevention & Management systems
- Collect, organize, and maintain compliance, quality, and risk-related data and documentation
- Assist with analysis of performance, outcome, and incident data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Track quality improvement initiatives, corrective action plans, and follow-up activities
- Assist with coordination and execution of internal compliance audits and routine monitoring
- Conduct file reviews and documentation checks using established audit tools
- Maintain incident, complaint, and risk logs; escalate critical issues per protocol
- Support documentation of the full quality improvement and risk management cycle
- Assist with preparation of reports for leadership, committees, and accreditation reviews
- Provide administrative and logistical support for compliance, quality, and risk committees
- Assist with tracking and documentation of compliance-related training

Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Social Work, Behavioral Health, Human Services, or a related field
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience preferred in compliance support, quality improvement, risk management, auditing, or program monitoring within behavioral health, healthcare, or human services
- Familiarity with COA accreditation standards strongly preferred
Physical Demands and Work Environment:Normal office environment with minimal exposure to dush, noise, etc. Extended PC viewing and keyboard required.
