This is a seasonal position, you can use your winters off to travel, hunt, fish or for other activities you enjoy while your benefits continue year round.
As a quality control technician, your overall role will be to collect, prepare, test and analyze samples in order to determine gradation and characteristics, using laboratory apparatus and testing equipment. You will need to do this at various sites/locations according to pre-set procedures. You will need to ensure tests conform to state and/or ASTM standards. Ensure OSHA, DOT, EPA, DNR, MSHA, Federal, State, and Local safety and environmental regulation compliance including attending training.
To be successful in this role, you must be able to work varied hours, limited travel within the area, able to multitask and have a valid driver's license.
Typical hours during Production are M-F 7am-5:30pm and one Saturday per month from 7am-noon.
