We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a
Construction Data Entry Specialist. This role is crucial to the smooth operation of our construction projects, involving tasks such as setting up jobs, coordinating with subcontractors, and managing financial transactions. This is a part-time position with the potential for full-time for the right candidate. 


Responsibilities:

1. Job Setup:
 Create and maintain records for each construction project, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
 Collaborate with project managers to gather necessary details for project setup.


2. Subcontractor Coordination:
 Communicate with subcontractors to gather required documentation and ensure
compliance with company standards.
 Prepare and send subcontract agreements to subcontractors, maintaining proper documentation.

3. Data Entry into Accounting Software:
 Accurately enter subcontract details, expenses, and financial transactions into the company accounting software.
Reconcile data to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial records.


4. Accounts Payable:
Process and enter accounts payable transactions promptly.
Verify invoices for accuracy, obtain necessary approvals, and ensure timely payments.


5. Payroll Processing:
Process weekly payroll for construction personnel.
 Verify hours worked, ensure compliance with labor laws, and address any payroll-related inquiries.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in data entry, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and data management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  •  Knowledge of construction processes and subcontractor relations is a plus. Education and Experience:
  •  A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional education in business administration or related fields is a plus.
  • Prior experience in data entry or administrative roles, with exposure to construction processes.
