Construction Project Manager
Location
Castlewood, South Dakota; open to on-site, hybrid, or remote within a 2–3 hour driving distance of Castlewood
In-person presence expected a few times per month for team coordination and planning
Minimal travel to job sites or customer locations
Schedule
Full-time, typically 40–50 hours per week, Monday through Friday
Additional hours may be needed occasionally based on project timelines
Salary Range
Starting at $100,000+ annually, depending on experience

The Role
This role sits at the intersection of construction and manufacturing. The Construction Project Manager helps move building projects from concept through production and delivery by coordinating drawings, materials, timelines, and communication across teams. You’ll work closely with customers, internal production teams, and technical staff to ensure projects are accurate, buildable, and on track.
What You’ll Do
Coordinate building panel and SIP projects from initial scope through production and delivery
Review construction drawings and specifications to confirm accuracy and feasibility
Work directly with customers and internal teams to resolve project details and keep timelines moving
Support material planning, takeoffs, and production readiness
Partner with purchasing and manufacturing to align materials and schedules
Track multiple projects at different stages and maintain clear communication across stakeholders
Help prepare projects for manufacturing, shipment, and delivery
Provide practical construction insight during planning and problem-solving
What We’re Looking For
Experience in construction project management, coordination, or a similar role
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Working knowledge of building systems and construction sequencing
Experience coordinating across teams (customers, vendors, internal staff)
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to manage multiple projects at once
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Practical, hands-on understanding of construction processes
Comfortable working with both office and production teams
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with agricultural or light commercial construction
Experience with SIPs, panelized construction, or building envelope systems
Background working with general contractors or post-frame builders
Experience in a manufacturing-connected construction environment
Familiarity with CAD (preferred, not required)
