Responsibilities:
- Manage the overall construction process for commercial projects, ensuring they are completed on-time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Supervise and lead a team of dedicated professionals, including subcontractors, to effectively execute project plans and meet project milestones.
- Coordinate and collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to interpret blueprints, resolve technical issues, and ensure adherence to project specifications.
- Oversee the procurement of construction materials, equipment, and supplies, ensuring their timely delivery and compliance with project requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections on construction sites to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and enforce safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily reports, progress photographs, change orders, and construction schedules.
- Implement and enforce Sunkota Construction's quality control policies and procedures to ensure project deliverables meet or exceed client expectations.
- Manage the allocation of resources and materials efficiently to optimize productivity and reduce waste.
- Keep up-to-date with industry advancements, trends, and best practices to continually enhance construction processes and methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes, regulations, and safety guidelines.
Requirements:
- Proven experience (minimum 8-10 years) as a Construction Superintendent in the commercial construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction processes, practices, and techniques.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to supervise and motivate diverse teams.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications.
- Proficient in using construction management software and tools.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Solid understanding of safety procedures and regulations.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
