POSITION TITLE: Content Marketing Strategist

SUPERVISED BY: Operations Manager __________________________________________________________________________

POSITION PURPOSE:

The Content Marketing Strategist is responsible for creating, editing, optimizing, and strategizing the direction of Empire Companies social media, website, and advertising needs. In this role the Content Marketing Strategist will develop inbound and outbound marketing strategies, build content to create brand awareness and work closely with the sales team to drive leads.

PRIMARY DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive traffic and engagement that translates to sales and brand promotion.
  • Manage marketing budget.
  • Implement SEO best practices.
  • Manage website and social media accounts such as, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Design and Develop marketing strategies that align with the company’s overall business goals. 
  • Provide performance metrics for website, email marketing, social media platforms, and number of leads generated from marketing efforts.
  • Create content that includes copy, images, or video to promote Empire Companies.
  • Research new trends in the industry and potential opportunities for growth for the company. Implement marketing technology to assist with the sales process.
  • Research events in the industry in which the company would benefit from sponsoring or attending.
  • Plan and organize company events.

EDUCATION AND OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related fields
  • 2 years of experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong eye for detail and design
  • Previous experience managing social media marketing
  • Strategic planning experience

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT

Physical:

Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in a construction setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to

moderate amounts of weight 50 lbs.; to operate necessary equipment required to fulfill the needs of the job. No travel or weekends required.

Environment:

Work is performed primarily in an indoor environment.
