Role Overview:
The Content Specialist is responsible for producing high-quality visual, digital, and multimedia content that supports DTSF’s marketing strategy and storytelling. This role executes graphic design, photography, and supports video, and audio production in-house. This individual must ensure consistent, on-brand content across campaigns, events, as well as, print & digital communications.
This position focuses on content production and creative execution, working closely with the Marketing Manager to bring campaigns to life efficiently and with a high level of craft. The Content Specialist plays a key role in maintaining DTSF’s visual identity and elevating how Downtown Sioux Falls is represented across platforms.
Full time, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM. Required to work some evenings, weekends, and Holidays. DTSF Signature Events may require heavy lifting, exposure to weather, and prolonged standing. Riverfest and Parade of Lights events are considered black-out days for PTO
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and produce digital and print materials, including social graphics, newsletters, signage, event collateral, templates, and promotional assets.
- Capture and edit photography and video content for events, ad campaigns, and district storytelling.
- Support website and email execution, building visual layouts and multimedia components using provided content and direction.
- Prepare and package content for social media and campaigns, ensuring consistency with brand standards and messaging.
- Maintain asset libraries, templates, and production systems to support efficiency and consistency.
- Support production timelines for events, sponsorship deliverables, and advocacy initiatives.
