Schedule
Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary Range
$70,000–$90,000 annually, depending on experience

The Role
The Controller leads the company’s accounting function and serves as a key member of the leadership team. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong financial controls, and providing insights that support business decisions. The Controller oversees a small team and works closely with leadership to guide financial planning and overall company performance.
What You’ll Do
- Lead day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, payroll, and cash management
- Prepare and deliver monthly financial statements and internal reports to leadership
- Manage the annual budgeting process and support forecasting and financial planning
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax requirements, and regulatory guidelines
- Coordinate external audits and year-end financial processes
- Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions
- Supervise and develop a team of approximately 5 accounting staff
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of accounting experience, including team leadership
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and general accounting practices
- Experience managing month-end close and preparing financial statements
- Ability to lead, coach, and develop a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
- Effective communication skills and ability to partner with leadership
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Experience supporting audits and working with external auditors
- Familiarity with payroll processes and compliance
