Position Summary:
As a Cook at Ironwood, you’ll work in a fast-paced, detail-focused kitchen alongside a skilled culinary team. You’ll be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes with precision, maintaining a clean and organized station, and upholding the techniques and standards that define our kitchen.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and execute menu items with attention to detail, consistency, and presentation
Maintain proper station setup, cleanliness, and organization
Follow recipes and plating guidelines accurately and efficiently
Uphold all food safety and sanitation standards
Assist in prep, inventory, and daily kitchen operations as needed
Communicate and collaborate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house teams
Work under pressure while maintaining composure and professionalism
Qualifications:
2+ years of cooking experience in a high-end or fine dining restaurant required
Strong knife skills and knowledge of culinary techniques
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to quality, cleanliness, and consistency
Punctual, dependable, and team-oriented
Culinary degree or formal training is a plus but not required
