Job Description

The Bistro at Pomegranate Market is seeking an experienced, motivated kitchen cook who loves food, clean eating, and delivering excellent customer service. This is a full-time position with flexible shifts Monday through Saturday (7:30?am – 8:30?pm) and Sundays (10?am – 6?pm). ServSafe certification is a plus, but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare salads, sandwiches, taqueria menu items, hot bar menu items, soups, fresh smoothies and other beverages according to recipes

• Take customer orders and deliver food and beverages efficiently

• Operate kitchen equipment safely, including ovens, mixers, knives, juicers, and dishwashers

• Maintain cleanliness of prep areas, dining area, tables, counters, salad bar, and steam table

• Replenish supplies and ensure all products meet quality standards

• Communicate clearly with customers and team members in English

• Operate cash register and food scale when needed

Physical Requirements:

• Stand for long periods, bend, reach, lift up to 25?lbs, and push/pull carts up to 50?lbs

• Use hands and fingers to prepare, package, and serve food and beverages
