Cook - PRN
Sun Dial Manor, a premier assisted living facility in Bristol, SD, is seeking a Cook to join our team on a PRN (as needed) basis. The Cook will be responsible for preparing and serving delicious and nutritious meals for our residents, as well as ensuring a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare meals according to recipes and dietary restrictions
- Cook and serve meals to residents in a timely manner
- Ensure proper food storage and handling procedures are followed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
- Collaborate with dietary team to ensure resident satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Compassionate and caring attitude towards residents
