DESCRIPTION

The University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine seeks an individual with expertise in program evaluation and learner assessment for the position of Coordinator of Evaluation and Assessment, housed within the Office of Medical Education. The Coordinator will help to foster a climate of data-driven decision-making by assisting the Office of Medical Education with its efforts related to continuous quality improvement and accreditation.


The Coordinator oversees the bulk of student assessment and program evaluation for Pillar 2 and assists the Director of Evaluation and Assessment with overall program evaluation initiatives by preparing and distributing reports and other useful information to various stakeholders. Pursuit of scholarly activities in medical education will be expected. The Coordinator of Evaluation and Assessment reports to the Director of Evaluation and Assessment.


QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree required, with at least one year of related experience. Knowledge of program evaluation, learner assessment, statistical analysis, and applicable software (specifically Microsoft Excel and SPSS) required.
