We are currently accepting applications for Counselors to join our Family Pathways team. Whether your passion is working with children and families or supporting individuals during times of crisis and stabilization, these positions offer the opportunity to provide meaningful clinical care while working alongside supportive and collaborative teams.
Family Pathways
Our Family Pathways team provides behavioral health services designed to support children, youth, and families. As a Counselor on this team, you will provide therapeutic support, symptom assessment and management, and counseling services that help children and families navigate challenges, build on their strengths, and work toward improved well-being. This is an excellent opportunity for clinicians who are passionate about working with children and families and believe in the importance of family-centered, strength-based care.
What You'll Do
Depending on the program and assigned team, responsibilities may include:
- Providing individual and supportive counseling to clients and families
- Conducting assessments and supporting the development of individualized treatment plans
- Providing symptom assessment and management
- Supporting clients as they work toward identified treatment, recovery, and wellness goals
- Working collaboratively with children, families, clients, and other members of the treatment team
- Providing treatment, rehabilitation, and support services
- Helping connect clients and families with appropriate community resources and additional services
- Maintaining timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Collaborating with other professionals to provide coordinated, person-centered care
- Supporting a positive, compassionate, and recovery-oriented treatment environment
Education & Experience
Candidates must have:
- A Master's degree in a human services-related field
- The ability to obtain licensure in South Dakota to practice mental health counseling
- Qualified Mental Health Provider (QMHP) certification or eligibility, as applicable
