Counter Sales Associate
Construction knowledge/experience preferred!
Stan Houston Equipment Company in Sioux City is now hiring!
Full Time: Monday through Friday, day shift!
Here’s what you’ll do:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist customers in locating construction materials, tools and equipment in store and provide information on products.
- Check inventory availability, and accurately process sales transactions using the store's point-of-sale system.
- Handle cash, credit card, and other payment methods efficiently
Here’s what will get you noticed:
- Prior customer service or sales experience
- Great interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills for operating the point-of-sale system and accessing product information
Here’s what you’ll need to be successful:
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience in a customer service or retail environment
- Previous experience with construction tools and equipment preferred

Physical Capabilities Required:
